A few favorite quotes & life rules
To switch things up a bit, I thought I’d pass along a few of my favorite quotes. Some you may find inspirational, some you may not. Either way, here are a few. I’ll add other favorites from time to time:
“MOST ILLNESS STARTS WITH A NEGATIVE MIND”. It’s been proven again and again. Hypochondriacs, people who are convinced that they are sick even though nothing is wrong with them, experience the same exact symptoms of the actual disease. For them, the illness is just as real as if their bodies were ravaged by disease. It is also possible to make yourself ill through constant worry and fear of failure, because the mind constantly strives to turn into reality the things we think about most. Protect your mental health with the same care you give your physical body. Just as your body requires healthy, nourishing foods, and a balanced diet, so does your mind. Make sure you feed it plenty of positive thoughts”. –Napoleon Hill Foundation-July 18, 2004
Be brave. Even if you’re not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference.
Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.
“When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace”. ~Jimi Hendrix
Learn to show cheerfulness, even when you don’t feel like it.
Learn to show enthusiasm, even when you don’t feel like it.
Your outlook on life is a direct reflection of how much you like yourself.
JEALOUSY works the opposite way you want it to.
You get what you think about.
“Your imagination is a preview of life’s coming attractions” ~Albert Einstein
“I’m not here for a picnic” ~Debbie Wells
To keep your attention, I am going to stop there for now. Now, go out and create an amazing day for yourself! :o)
